Ten of the most useful wine descriptions or descriptors

1- Bouquet or Aroma: The odor of the wine and the smell it emits. Younger wines are generally described as having aroma, and older wines are sometimes more described as having a bouquet.

2- Body - The way the wine feels in your mouth and the weight it imposes

3- Dry - means a not very sweet wine.

4- Crisp - A wine that tastes acidic.

5- Finish - The way the wine feels as you are swallowing it.

6- Fruity - An odor in the wine of fruit, not the sweetness of the wine.

7- Intensity of Flavor: How strong the flavor of the wine is.

8- Oaky - A wine that tastes of oak.

9- Soft - A smoother wine.

10- Tannice - A firm wine that leaves the mouth feeling dry.
